Review: Modern Family Season 2 Episode 5 (Halloween)

It's halloween week on abc. Almost all of their Series airing Halloween-theme episode. which is very good bcoz all of their ratings jump this week, including Modern family.
In season 2 modern family jumps as the best comedy on TV. And on 5th week it was #1 show in adults 18-49 demo, beating Dancing with the stars, FOX's Glee, and abc's Grey's anatomy. And seems like in this 6th week too, where they hit series high with 13 millions viewers and 5.1 in adults 18-49 which is important for ads.

Halloween is Claire's favourite holiday. So she really prepared for this. She decided the theme, the costumes and the script. On the othr hand, their neighbor just got divorce. The story of his neighbor made Phil freak out bcoz it almost similar to him. So he always disturb Claire when she does preparation for halloween treat.

At Jay's family, there was alot of funny scenes. Esp. Gloria. Jay and Manny teased her about her accent. And i tell you, it is funny. Jay asked her to order litte "Cheeses", but instaed she ordered baby "Jesus". LOL
And then "Carpool tuunnel syndrom" instead of "Carpal tunnel syndrome". Ahaha... There are alot. You should check it.

At office, Mitchell over heard that It's ok to wear costume for Halloween during work in his new office. And He was so excited and decided to wear costume too, Spiderman. LOL. But turned out, it was the only those 2 weirdo wore the costumes. Make it three with Mitchell.

At Halloween night, the show time. It wasnt what Claire expected at all. Gloria still angry with Jay about the accent. And Cameron cant stop moaning about his past experience in Halloween. Phil still acted crazy about the divorce, Alex, their's daughter just think about 3 major exam that she had.

You should watch it. Highly recomended!

Review: No Ordninary Family Season 1 Episode 5 (No Ordinary Earthquake)

So, just caught new episode of No ordinary family (NOF) : No ordinary earthquake.
Hm... what should i say? It's still typical NOF. So "family". They should make alot of twist if they want the show being picked up for another season. It was lucky the show got full order (22 episodes this season). Well, not really lucky consider it could pull 7-8 million viewers and ~2.0 in 18-49 demo while competing with FOX's hit series Glee, CBS #1 (in total viewer) NCIS and NBC's reality show "The Biggest Loser".
But it still far away from safe.

So in this episode, they showed us another new power. (Gosh i just hope it wont be like Heroes with never ending powers from new characters). But different from heroes, in this series, the new power still related to one person. Stephanie's boss, Dr. Dayton. I would be freaked out if the new power come out of no where like Heroes did.

The episode started in a mall or supermarket or what evs, and suddenly there was an earthquake. So an employee got trapped in the mess caused by the quake. So, Jim trying to help, but it could be dangerous if Jim pull the wrong side. so that time, his son J.J used his brain and told him Dad what to do.
So at home, Steph got curious about J.J. She thinks J.J got power too. But she just cant understand why he lied to 'em.

So, Jim tried to investigate about the quake. Based on his BFF, George, the quake only happened on the store area. So Jim went to investigate and lead him into a girl who has super wave power and turned out the girl got the power caused by Dr. Dayton.

At lab, Steph asked her assistant, Katie ,to break the encrypted code. Katie did it with help from J.J whom went to the lab to send his pee sample to prove to his mom that he's normal. J.J confessed to Katie that he has super brain. And Katie confessed to Steph about J.J after Steph asked her to re-encrypted the file.

At school, Daphne thought her friend sleep with her english teacher. She consulted with her mom about it, whether she should report it to the principle or not. Her mom said, she should, but if she's really really sure that what happend. So she did. And turned out it was a mistake.

J.J finally confesed to his parent that he got the power too. The parents freak out that he lied to 'em. He said he did that bcoz he wanted to feel that his parents proud of him. His mother told him to stop playing football (American football, not soccer). But at the end, the parents let him joined the team, but the Dad said he has to promise not to use his power, bcoz his dad believe in him that he got it.

So, overall it was an improvement from previous episode. I'll tune in again next week for sure.
I hope they'll twist it so it wont be boring and sooo family. It's on abc not abc family, Jon Harmon and Greg (the creators).

Review: Percy Jackson & Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Genre: Fantasy, action, family
Story: B-
Directing: C-
Acting: C-
Chemistry: D
Sounds, arts and designs: B-
Overall: C-

It was pain to watch. The acting just so frustrating. I'll blame the cast-er. I know they want a good looking and eye candy young actor, but they shouldnt forget about the ability to act. It's a movie, not a model. If Harry Potter producer could do that, why cant they? This movie based on a Novel, with same title. Maybe, they just should let it be a novel. It didnt work as a picture. I know they wanna make another success story like "Harry Potter" franchise, or "The Lord of The Ring" trilogy, but it didnt work. It was aweful. The chemistry was god knows how much i hate it. Hello, mom, cant you act? And the director, the mom cant really act, why did you make her as background supporter? She was so awkward. And the comedy? Gosh... the worst. The action on the other hands, kinda got my attention, but ruin by the acting. 1.5/5 stars.

Review: Crazy on the Outside (2010)

Genre: Romance,Comedy
Story: B
Acting: B
chemistry: B-
Sounds, arts and designs: B
Overall: B-

Tim Allen did pretty good job directing this movie. But, i dont know, somehow his acting not really convincing in here. Lack of chemistry. But great for others. May be he tried too hard to make it more natural, but it didnt work. The story is very typical, but not boring. I can predict the storyline, but kinda like the twist. I got the comedy, and the drama. But 2% lack, but it's better than most romance comedy movie these days. so, not so bad, Tim. 2.5/4 stars.

Review: Supernatural Season 6 episode 5 (Live Free or Twi-Hard)

It has to be the first!
Bcoz of this episode i decided to write again. LOL.
So last night i watched the latest episode (episode 5 of season 6) after it was sitting in my laptop for few days. The title was "Live Free or Twi-hard". Reading the title, i kinda expected it would be vampire kinda thing. And... i was right. Again! But the episode was so much fun than i expected.
So, after previous episode, which was focus on Bobby's soul, and less brotherhood moment (and the episode was directed by Jensen Ackles - The Dean), in this episode they back to usual. The episode started in a cafe with a vampire meeting an "innocent girl" that he met in social website. Connected by the poems. And guess who's the girl name? It was "Kristen" as in Stewart. LOL. And that's not it, dare to guess the vamp name? it was "Robert" as in Pattison. Huahaha... That time i just cant stop laughing. and i tell myself, it's gonna be good! And it was! LOL. Was it a coincidence (the name)? Nah, i dont think so! LOL
The next funny part, when they investigated Kristen's house, they went to her room. Her room full of vamps picture. Sam found a laptop. And there's password.
Dean: "hey, try, um.... Lautner"
Sam: "Wait, he's a werewolf. How do you even know who that is?"
Dean: "what, are you kidding me? That kid's everywhere. It's freaking nightmare"
Sam tried lautner and there was this screaming tone saying that it was a wrong password.
Sam: "Hey, how many T's are there in Pattin..."
"That's it. we are in".
LOL. It was so funny. The hardest laugh i got since i was at home.
Ok, stop with the jokes. In the episode, we could see something different with Sam. And it's scary. How could he left the vamps turned Dean into one of 'em? And he was smiling. Gee... I think i'm agree with Dean on this one. SOMETHING happened with Sam while in HELL. My guess is he made some kind of agreement with the king of hell. And that's why he got out. But well, your guess as good as mine.
So another jokes from Supernatural. While chasing the vamps in Cafe, there were 3 vamps in there.
Sam: "3 of em' and 2 of us".
Right after he said that, another vamps came and kissed the other vamp. Did i mention that it was a guy-guy kiss? LOL
Sam: "Okay, make that 2 of 'em"
Dean: : "One's on the move"
"All right, you go with Efron and i got Bieber"
Huahaha... You have to see it to laugh.
So, i dont wanna spoil the episode, so you better watch. was Dean really turned into vamp? is there a way to reverse it? And what's gonna happen with Dean and Lisa? well, just watch it yourself!
